As a psychotherapist in training, I offer therapy at a reduced cost of £45 per session. I am in my 6th year of training and study for a Masters in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy at Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling. I have been practicing as a therapist for the past 5 years.
I am registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) as a Psychotherapist in Training. I work in accordance with the UKCP and BCPC Ethical Principles and Code of Professional Conduct.
In my training I learned a number of different theories and how to use any of these if and when they feel right for our work together. Even more important is that we develop a relationship of trust that feels safe to you so that together we can reach a deep emotional understanding of your pain. If there is enough trust, then sometimes difficult feelings of anger and conflict between us can also be very useful to explore.
